Methodology
This training is based on concepts and methodologies created by the intellectual, Dr. Azoilda Loretto da Trindade. Using her methodological references, we have created a participatory and playful journey that fosters empathy for reflection, planning, and action. In the first module, we work with personal stories and perceptions, promoting participant engagement based on their own experiences to understand the dimension of structural racism and how deeply it is embedded in formal educational practices in the country. In module 2, we will conduct readings and case studies to evaluate the different realities and multiple ways racism manifests in Brazilian schools, and we will address the importance of legal frameworks for anti-racist and inclusive education. In module 3, it's time to consider roles and how we can implement anti-racist daily practices. In this module, we will begin to transform all the knowledge into possibilities for affirmative action. In module 4, it's time to design the Political Pedagogical Project for the implementation of Laws 10.639 and 11.645, and time to address doubts, overcome challenges, and form this small network of trained individuals.
